Dust Control Solutions and Their Types

To maintain pollution-free and healthy environment is very crucial for survival in the society. This is mainly because of the safety of the health of the people and the environment. With increasing pollution, people have forgotten to maintain hygiene for themselves and the environment.

Dust Control Solutions

To ensure that the society is surrounded with a clean and tidy environment, an adaptation of dust control solutions is very important. They also help in proper disposal of these particles so that they cannot cause any further damage to the health of the people and the environment surrounding the work area.

One of the most easily polluted environments is the work environment, especially where there is more manual labor. Places around factory construction sites, mining operations size, and so on, are said to have the most polluted environment and unhealthy conditions for workers. With improper dust control solutions in these working conditions, the workers can attract for themselves serious injuries and fatal diseases which can risk their life.

This is why it is very important to adapt some strict non-pollution solutions for the well-being of the employees. Even after taking proper precautions, there are ways through which these fatal toxic fumes escape the restricted areas and cause damage to the health of the people and the environment. This is why, dust control solutions, both mechanical and manual are required to maintain proper cleanliness.

There are various dust control solutions which have been adopted by industries and factories mainly because of imposing the laws of the Government and self-awareness because of the increasing pollution:
  • Dry collection – dry dust and debris cannot be avoided easily. Therefore, the collection of the same is very important since it will help in reducing the pollution to a great extent and promotes cleanliness which will be visible within a few days of maintenance. This type of solution generally includes the use of bag houses which have inbuilt fabric filters that vacuum the dust away from its source and dispose of them properly and securely.
  • Wet suppression – such type of dust control solutions mainly includes the use of water spray guns and extreme Jets with high power that allow the vigorous flow of water. This is suitable when there are piles of dust, molds and dirt accumulated on the surface and needs to be removed at once before it causes damage to the surface and the environment. For even better results, they are generally used with surfactants and foams. This form of pest control solution is widely accepted, but it is quite difficult to manage the velocity, the pressure of water, the droplet size, the angle of flow of water, and the tension of the surface, all at once.
These are a few basic dust control solutions which have been adopted by companies and factories. To adapt these pollution-free solutions is very beneficial for the work environment and the people living around it. They effectively reduce the risk of life which could be caused by their fatal toxic fumes and waste. Definitely, it reduces pollution and promotes sanitization because of which the workplace is more clearly visible. With proper dust control, the problem of bad odour is also ruled out. Healthy working conditions are absolutely important for the employees as it does not only reduce the risk of health but also increases their morale as well as their production potential.

Therefore, even if these dust control solutions are a little more expensive than they seem to be; this investment is absolutely worth it. This is because the health and well-being of the employees and nature are one of the priorities which cannot be overlooked in the long run.
