Installing a boreline isn’t as easy as it may appear to an external observer. Apart from local regulations to be followed, the actual installation takes time, effort and precision, and a marginal error can defeat the entire purpose of getting the line installed. Getting Your Boreline Installed 

1. Determine the exact location where you’d like the boreline to be installed. The location does not depend an on aesthetic value or your property’s plan but should be in line with water availability. You may want to check with local authorities or policies about ground water levels in your area so that you choose the right location. Also, check if there are any site restrictions before you plan your bore in a spot.
2. Check on local regulations to see whether you need permits to get a boreline installed. If a permit is required from an issuing authority, you may need to submit a detailed plan of your borewell before you get a permit.
3. Check whether there are any restrictions related to the method of laying the well. Some areas may not allow the line to be installed in the traditional way where it is mounted horizontally after being attached to a vehicle. So, check on all restrictions before planning.
4. Get a professional or a team of professionals who can handle the bore installation. When finding the right professional, check on referrals and recommendations so that you can get a certified contractor who will be able to complete the job in line with local recommendations.
5. When installing the bore, lay the water level monitoring probes besides the pipe and tape it with a strong tape such as duct tape every three meters so that the cable does not get snarled. Attach the stainless-steel support cable and ensure that the safety support cable is properly connected and secured to the bore cap.
6. Carefully lower this bundle into the bore, taking care not to damage the cable insulation that is on the casing of the bore. Once it is reduced to the required depth without kinking or hitting the bottom of the bore, set it above the casing slots and pull on the pump support cable and fix it.

At the time of installation, check the water quality and whether the bore is straight or at an angle. Always ensure that the installation is carried out straight and that the bore is correctly cased and sand screened so that water filtration is efficient. Also, ensure that the boreline you install has the right capacity for the pump you plan to use with it. Check the pipe’s burst pressure compatibility to the pump, too. Once the line is correctly installed, get the bore pump fitted and do a test run to make sure that the installation is in place.
