Introduction: What is LMS

A learning management system (LMS) can be said to be a software-based platform which facilitates an organization in the management, the delivery, as well as the measurement of its corporate eLearning programs and many other data.

Administrators – The Administrators, on the other hand, are the individuals who are on the other side of learning technology as compared to the learners. In other words, they are the people who are responsible for managing the LMS, which includes the combination of a large number of tasks such as creating the courses and the learning plans, assigning the courses to the learners, and tracking the learner's progress too.

Employee Training – The most basic LMS use is to support the training as well as the development of the internal employees of the organization. Inside the LMS, the courses can be given to ensure that the employees acquire the correct job skills, are informed about the product developments and are up-to-date on the compliance training, etc. 

Customer Training – This is very common for the software and the technology companies that need to effectively train the onboard users so that they can use the product more effectively. An ongoing customer training program will also give more value to the customers and prevent the customer churn.
